Weekly Routines

The first step in making your Weekly Routines is to think about the things you need to do every week and then select the days you want to do each of these things and then stick to your plan. Here is an example of my Weekly Routines.

Monday: Weekly Cleaning

  1. Kitchen
    1. Dump dead food.(tomorrow is trash day)
    2. Freshen garbage disposal
    3. Clean coffee maker
    4. Wash outside of fridge and oven.
    5. Clean microwave in and out
    6. Mop floor(I sweep it every other day )
    7. Windex glass top table
    8. Scrub sink and polish faucets
    9. Wash towels & dishclothes(I change these out everyday.)
  2. Living Room and Office
    1. Feather dust
    2. Windex all glass surfaces including TV screen and front door window.
    3. Clean ashtrays
  3. Bathroom
    1. Feather dust
    2. Windex all glass surfaces
    3. Change out and wash towels
    4. Clean tub
    5. Sweep Floor

    *NOTE* I spot clean the sink & toilet everyday so I only detail clean them once a month.

  4. Bedrooms
    1. Change and wash sheets.
    2. Feather dust
    3. Windex mirror
  5. Outside
    1. Sweep front porch
    2. Pick up trash as needed.

Tuesday: Zone Cleaning

  1. More on Zone Cleaning later.
  2. Gather trash take to curb

Wednesday: Finish Zone Cleaning OR Free Day

  1. Finish Zone Cleaning Chores.
  2. Remainder Weekly Cleaning.

Thursday: Grocery and Errand Day

  1. Plan Menus
  2. Make grocery list
  3. Make Walmart list
  4. Grocery Day.
  5. Errand Day:
    1. Library.
    2. Post office.
    3. Walmart
    4. Visit friends

Friday: Paperwork and Misc.

  1. File papers.
  2. Pay bills.
  3. Clean out purse.
  4. Give Dog a bath
  5. Wash car and clean/vacuum interior
  6. Clean birdbath
  7. Make weekend plans

Saturday: Free Day, spend it with family

  1. Don't forget to do your Daily Routine.

Sunday: Free Day, spend it with family
